Customers who write in describe quick help when a door is stuck, jammed, or locked them out. Reviewers say the technicians arrive on time, send a message before they come, and keep them informed. Many say the prices are fair and quoted clearly, with no overcharging.
Most reviewers describe a friendly, quick shop run by a long-serving couple. Owners are praised for patient explanations and for finding parts that other places could not source. The shop earns a 4.6 average across 1,132 Google reviews, with 88% five-star ratings. Price is the main source of complaint. Several one-star reviews say a standard key cost 12.5 dollars, against a going rate they put at 4 to 8 dollars. One reviewer paid 199 dollars for heel and sole work they had expected to cost about 50. Shoe and bag repairs get strong marks, but check the quote first.
Customers who came in describe quick work, often finished in minutes while they wait. Many say the staff are kind and helpful. Reviewers also call the prices fair for what they get. Several visitors mention a Bedok branch and a small garden outside where they can wait. One customer did 30 cards in one visit and found the service efficient. Another had a sticker removed on the spot and the data erased without fuss.
First Locks responds fast on WhatsApp and shows up quickly, with technicians who are friendly, explain their work clearly, and charge fair prices. Reviewers consistently praise their speed across both booking and job completion, backed by a 6-month warranty on lock work and transparent upfront quotes.
Reviews split sharply. Several five-star reviewers praise quick, accurate key copies and a friendly older couple. Many one- and two-star reviews describe high prices, failed keys, and refunds that were hard to get.
Not enough recent reviews yet to synthesise a reliable sentiment read for this business.
Customers who call Apex Locksmith Services describe quick arrivals and fast fixes. Several reviewers say the team reached them within 15 to 30 minutes, including after midnight. Reviewers also call the pricing fair and the staff polite and dependable. Most of the work described is home and letterbox lock jobs: bedroom doors, key replacement, and a malfunctioning digital lock. One reviewer praised the technician for trying to open the digital lock before drilling it. Another named a technician, Justin, for explaining what to do after the call.
Shoppers consistently describe staff as friendly and knowledgeable about digital locks. Many reviews name a salesperson, and they say the staff explain models without pushing a sale. Reviewers also value help with fair deals and vouchers. The rating is 4.8 from 853 Google reviews, with 95% five-star. Most recent reviews mention purchases made at exhibition booths such as COMEX and Suntec Expo. Two staff members, Cathy and Ren, come up again and again. Reviews of the shop itself are sparse, so detail on installation work is limited.
Customers here keep coming back to speed. Reviewers describe technicians arriving within minutes or under an hour, then opening locked doors fast. Ratings sit almost entirely at five stars. The praise also covers manners and clear talk. Reviewers mention a named technician, James, who explains the job and warns about delays. Lock replacements and a main door installation were called tidy and well done.
Most recent reviewers praise the sales staff for patient, plain-language advice on doors, gates and digital locks. Many say the staff stayed responsive by WhatsApp and kept helping after installation. The 4.9 rating across 3706 Google reviews backs up that steady picture. Installations get good marks for neat finish and proper alignment. Daniel and Miko come up most often by name, and Joyce is praised for showroom help. Two 1-star reviews complain about a cold sales approach at a fair and a door that warped after a year. Those are the outliers to weigh.
Joe and his uncle run a tight operation. Reviewers consistently walk out in under ten minutes with duplicate keys that work the first time, appreciate the fair prices with no hidden charges, and praise the genuine warmth of the owner. The shop takes cash and PayNow, issues receipts, and the owner has reportedly stayed late to help customers. Key duplication dominates the feedback, but reviewers also mention lock opening without damage and repair work at reasonable rates. Service quality is the draw here. Customers highlight that Joe actually knows how to duplicate tricky keys (mailbox sets, for instance) when other keysmith shops fail. The owner's personal approach sets the place apart: reviewers note his humility, lack of ego, and willingness to go extra miles for locals. No complaints surface in the reviews.
Reviewers keep coming back to the same few points: installers arrive on time and work fast, and staff take time to explain the lock. Many reviews praise the Xeno range by name. The reviews are almost all short, five-star praise, with few details beyond that. Two reviewers name installers, Hiron and Emily, and one describes a follow-up visit after install. Buyers mention key, card, fingerprint, and face access options. One reviewer had a long install and a slow teaching session, but still gave five stars. No one reports a complaint.
