Corrections, disputes, and removals

Singapore Locksmith Guide is a free directory of locksmith businesses across Singapore, built from publicly available business data and scored using a fixed rubric applied to every Google review. Your listing is free, and payment does not affect your score or ranking. This page explains how to correct factual information, challenge a score, or ask for your listing to be removed. The complete rubric is public: ranking method.

Factual corrections

Wrong phone number, outdated hours, an old address, services you no longer offer: send us the correct detail plus something we can verify it against, like your website or your Google Business Profile. Verified corrections are applied to the site and pinned so future data refreshes do not overwrite them.

Disputing a score

Scores are never manually adjusted. A dispute is a claim that the data behind your score is wrong: for example, your listing is matched to the wrong business, reviews have been attributed to you incorrectly, or a summary of review text is inaccurate. We re-check the sources and regenerate your listing. Disputing a score is not a request for a higher number.

Removal requests

We remove listings when a business has permanently closed, when duplicate entries exist, or when the listing falls outside Singapore Locksmith Guide's scope. Our monthly verification process automatically detects and removes closed businesses. Accurate listings that fall within our scope may be declined for removal, and we will explain why plainly.

Where to send requests

Write to hello@sgheartlandguides.com with your business name, your listing's URL, and the change you are requesting. This directory is published by SG Heartland Guides.

Response times

Every request receives an acknowledgement within 5 business days. Confirmed removals are completed within 7 days. Declined requests include our reasoning.
