About this directory
What this is
Singapore Locksmith Guide is an independent directory covering 187 locksmith businesses across Singapore. It exists for one job: helping someone locked out at midnight in Tampines, or a property manager comparing rekeying quotes for a whole block, find a locksmith worth calling without wading through pages of near-identical search results.
We are also honest about the rest of the model. Singapore Locksmith Guide is an independent directory and comparison resource, and it also generates enquiries for local providers. When you ask to be matched with someone, we pass your request to providers relevant to your request, and we may receive a referral fee for that introduction. Referral arrangements never affect scores or earned rankings. Those two functions, the directory and the matching, are kept deliberately separate, which is why the next sections spell out exactly where each ranking number comes from.
How listings get here
Every business on this site starts from public business information: registration details, service areas, hours, and the like. We layer on a synthesis of recent Google reviews, summarising patterns in what customers say rather than copying review text, and we link out to the Google listing itself so you can read the originals in full. Nothing here is written by the businesses about themselves.

How rankings work
Placement is earned, not assigned. Every score comes from a published rubric applied to the data described above, nothing more. The full mechanics, including what gets weighted and why, are laid out on the /methodology/ page for anyone who wants to check our working.
Sponsorship, clearly labelled
Some pages carry paid placements. These are always marked “Sponsored”, shown in a separate section from the earned ranking, and they never move a business up or down the actual list. A locksmith can pay to be seen. It cannot pay for a better score.

Corrections without control
If you run one of the listed businesses and spot a wrong phone number, address, or opening hour, you can get it corrected. What you cannot do is edit your own score, sentiment summary, or ranking position. That stays tied to the data and the rubric, not to the listing owner.
Who’s behind it
This directory is published by SG Heartland Guides, which has run independent home services directories across Singapore since 2026, built on public business records and published customer review data. Rankings here are not for sale. Editorial oversight of the locksmith rankings sits with Jacky Lee, Editor. Data is refreshed monthly, and the “last verified” stamp on each listing reflects that ongoing check, not a one-time entry. FAQ
- Can a locksmith pay to rank higher on this site?
- No. Paid sponsorship is labelled separately and shown apart from the earned ranking. It never changes a business's score or position, which come only from the published rubric applied to public data and review patterns.
- Do you show the actual text of Google reviews?
- No. We synthesise patterns from recent reviews and link out to the Google listing so you can read the source reviews yourself.
- How often is listing information updated?
- Data is refreshed monthly, and each listing shows a last verified date so you can see how recently it was checked.
- What happens if I ask to be matched with a locksmith?
- Your enquiry is passed to providers relevant to your request, and Singapore Locksmith Guide may receive a referral fee for that introduction. This has no bearing on any business's ranking.
